In-Work Items
A consensus process is followed for introducing/approving each technical change to IGES. Changes may be proposed by anyone. The changes are introduced through a Request for Change (RFC) document. Comments are invited during the RFC consensus cycle. When each RFC reaches full approval, it is identified as an Edit Change Order (ECO). As each ECO is approved it will be posted to the "Next Version" list. To propose a change to IGES, please complete the RFC submission form.
A list of all RFCs is available. A summary of the IGES organization's milestones is also available.
