IGES 5.2 Examples

Appendix A describes three examples of parts and their IGES files. (Please refer to the IGES document for example descriptions and Figures A1 - A3.) The IGES files are available by permission of US Pro.

• Example 1, an integrated circuit cell (2D) file (size = 8K)
 
• Example 2, a 2D mechanical part drawing file (size = 24K)
 
• Example 3, a 3D part model with drawing views file (size = 32K)

 

IGES 5.3 Figures

Some of the figures in IGES 5.3 are converted into the document's graphics from IGES source files. Each of these files uses the IGES entity to illustrate the example shown in the figure. These files are available as text cases for the entity described (but not to be considered as adequate for tool validation).
