Victor Gandy
Executive Secretary Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation

Mr. Gandy joined the Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC) in 2003, and is based in Cuernavaca, Mexico. IAAC is an organization which promotes international accreditation with 37 members from 22 countries in the Americas. His responsibilities include managing the Cooperation's daily operations, including the Multi-Lateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA) processes, organizing IAAC general meetings, and managing technical cooperation projects with the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Physikalisch-Technisches Bundesanstalt (PTB) of Germany.
Mr. Gandy has over 10 years of international trade and business development experience in Latin America. He has worked in Mexico and in the United States for export manufacturers in various sales and marketing capacities. Mr. Gandy also worked for the Texas Department of Economic Development providing export assistance to small and medium-sized companies doing business with Latin America. Mr. Gandy holds a degree in Communications from the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM), in Mexico City, and a graduate certificate from the Technological Autonomous Institute of Mexico (ITAM). He is business fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, and has basic knowledge of German.
