Mr. Tannahill is an Electronic Engineer in the Technical Research Branch at the FCC Laboratory. Over the last 15 years he has worked at the FCC in various positions related to the equipment authorization process. He started out testing low power unlicensed equipment and processing equipment authorization applications. Then he expanded to cover licensed devices, primarily in the Part 90 Land Mobile Radio Service.

With the experience gained in testing and processing, Mr. Tannahill helped develop the Equipment Authorization Electronic Filing System, and he currently serves as the technical point of contact for this system. In addition, his responsibilities have grown to include work on Mutual Recognition Agreement/Arrangements.
