NIST Standards Coordination and Conformity Group: Trade Support

NOTICE

"Effective October 1, 2004, NIST will no longer have access to proposed draft standards developed for use in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries (Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar) and thus will not be able to provide drafts to U.S. technical experts for review and comment.

Interested individuals and organizations can subscribe to NIST's Export Alert service ( http://ts.nist.gov/ts/htdocs/210/ncsci/export-alert.htm ) to receive notifications of proposed technical regulations and standards from those countries listed above that are WTO members. For information on draft Saudi standards, please contact the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization directly at:
