Assessor Manual

NVLAP periodically conducts formal training symposia for NVLAP assessors for the purpose of ensuring that 1) NVLAP assessors are kept informed of the latest developments in laboratory accreditation, 2) NVLAP is in compliance with international standards for laboratory accreditation bodies, and 3) NVLAP employs a harmonized and consistent approach to accreditation requirements and assessor practices. Each training symposium attendee receives the NVLAP Assessor Manual. The Table of Contents for the current version of this manual is reproduced below, with links to the documents that are available on-line.
